WHY you are not getting results
It's not me, it's you. Commitment.
This one may sting a bit, but some of you need to hear it.
In our world, coaching class and helping when you are here is the easy part, for any coach.
It's when you leave the gym that is when our job gets challenging.
This is about WHY you are not getting the results you want. It all comes down to one simple thing actually...you are not as Disciplined or Consistent as you want to believe.
Our Understanding
We have plenty of conversations about all the chaos that happens in real life. We get it, we know, we deal with it ourselves.
This is not us trying to throw you under the bus. This is about learning and thinking, not to make you feel bad.
Commitment-Dedication-Discipline
Did you really need those 3 beers at the football game the other night?
Did you need to eat your kids Mac and Cheese they didn't finish?
Did you need to finish that extra episode of your favorite show and go to bed later?
or this "I just can't give up sugar", or smoking, or carbs...or this bad habit...
The point is there are so many little things you have to do right in order for your body to look and feel the way you want it to.
They are NOT all easy. At the beginning of trying to change them, they are downright difficult!
Unfortunately, they are necessary.
You have to decide, are you going to chose to:
1) have the body, the confidence, the energy, the not getting sick, the physical ability, the lower chance of major/chronic disease when you are older, the increased productivity, the happiness that should come with this list?
OR
2) have a few beers/drinks each week, the donut in the break-room, the dessert when you are already full, the extra episode of that new show you like, the candy bar in the check-out lane, the pop instead of water, etc...
Before you get too bent out of shape about having to choose between only those 2 options...saying, "well, I only do that on occasion". Do you...really?
We do advocate balance, but let's be real here. If you really only did those things on rare occasions, you would already be at option 1 above and wouldn't even be reading this.
You may also be thinking that you want to enjoy life and those little things are part of it all. This is true, but you do not get to complain about not having the results you want if this is the path you choose.
You have to be DISCIPLINED.
You have to stay COMMITTED.
You have to DEDICATE time and energy to changing your habits to get those results.
There is no doubt these things can be challenging.
What is going to be stronger: your determination and will power to learn and progress, or taking the easy way out and see where you end up?

You have to know your WHY!
Why is it more important to end up with option 1 above and why it is NOT OK to settle for option 2.
Why is it worth the nights in vs out.
The truly clean eating vs trying for 80/20, 80% clean and 20% not....which is really 60/40 and you know it.
Why you get up before work to come to the gym for an hour vs saying "eh, I'll go tomorrow" and it never happening.
You chose your destiny. We are here to help.
